Once upon a time there was this cool dude. Everyone loved him, everyone wanted to be around him, in fact, everyone wanted to be him. He was amazing at all sports, earned a tidy packet in his job, and set the bar for how one should dress. A real trendsetter.
But this isn’t his story.
For somewhere in the background is… The OddFather.
A fairly regular guy – father, husband, son, brother, uncle, friend – who spends far too much time thinking about Arsenal, films, and whether he’s actually got life figured out yet. (Spoiler: he hasn’t.)
A lifelong Arsenal supporter, an accidental Apple fanboy, and someone who still loves talking about films despite no longer having the unlimited cinema pass that originally inspired this blog.
And if you haven’t realised yet… he likes to ramble. A lot.
These days the blog runs on a fairly simple schedule:
Mondays – football thoughts, mostly centred around Arsenal and the emotional damage that comes with supporting them.
Thursdays – life, parenting, films, random observations, and whatever else has been taking up space in my head that week.As for the cast:
- Mrs OddFather – my wife, who somehow still tolerates all of this.
- The OddDaughter – currently 6 years old and already far funnier than me.
- The OddSon – 2 years old and operating almost entirely on chaos.
They all feature fairly regularly, whether they like it or not.
Oh, and just when you thought I sounded alright – I once owned a gold BMW.
