A double-whammy of OddSketches for you today.
I’m still revelling in the win over Chelsea on Sunday. I especially like how Havertz really has it in for them and turns up on the score sheet more often than not.
This one was inspired by Gunnerblog on this week’s Arsecast Extra – where he states regarding Havertz:
“It’s very Sith Lord of him to allow the hate to flow through him to such devastating effect.”
The immediate image that came to me was that of Anakin slaying younglings in Star Wars: Episode III. Only this time, the younglings are replaced by Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers, and Emi Martinez.
There was plenty that could have made for an OddSketch from the game against Chelsea – from Odegaard’s beauty of a goal, Rice infuriating Rogers, Konsa’s cheered tackle on Rogers, or Big Gabi kicking Martinez in the head.
That last one in particular was one I enjoyed, but I opted to focus on Havertz’s hatred of the club in blue.
